error: c1buildprogram () -11

that's the error i keep getting and i am using ati radeon 5800 with cat 12.8 drivers. any ideas why thanks in advanced.
it doesn't look like you are using catalyst 12.8 as you claim, it definitely looks like you are using catalyst 12.10. if you had previously installed a newer version of catalyst and then tried to roll back to 12.8, it's highly likely the new version did not completely uninstall itself. also keep in mind that catalyst on windows updates itself automatically.

clean out your drivers, then do a fresh install of 12.8.
okay, i will try again this time make sure im more thorough with it. i will try with another fresh handshake cap to hccap too just to be sure. thanks for the support
