I consider buying some ATI card because they are cheaper for the speed on the OCLhashcat's programs. One of the drawback (in Windows) is to have every card plugged to a monitor. Is there any workaround to that or a special plug that make the card thinks it's with a monitor?
There are dummy plugs.
Idk if they're being sold, but they can be made.
Check here and here.

Thanks Rolf. Now 2 other questions:

1) If you use those dummy plugs, from what I have read, you need to extend the desktop to the monitors that hash the dummy plug. However since there are no real monitor attached, does it mean that you completely loose a part of your desktop?

2) Does this dummy plug requirement still holds for Windows 7?

both questions can be answered with yes
Maybe you can duplicate desktop on those ghost monitors, then you wont lose anything.
yep, good idea
