Hi guys, I'm a newby and I am watching lots of tutorials to understand the HashCat Program.

So yeah, I wanted to ask how you guys actually find the Hash Codes you want to crack. (There sure are example hash codes around, however, I need to get access to an old account of mine.)
There are lots of websites that host the hashes. That is where I get most of mine.
Are you asking how to retrieve the hash for your own system? That will largely depend on the system you are dealing with.

Well, it is about an old Forum account. I deactivated my e-mail address linked to it a long while ago and I really want my old username there back.
No hacking here..
