Full Version: Large hashfile - no result - SHA512

I have a hashfile that is 40 mb large it contains usernames and SHA512 hashes. (FYI: I've tried with just the hashes, making the file smaller in size).

When running oclHashcat with mode 1700 on a large number of rows, I get either no results or only one or two. Scaling the rows down to about 10k rows, using the same mode/syntax, gives me significantly more results ( strangely little though, about 10%).

This is not an issue of performance, since I've tried with a wordlist containing passwords I know for a fact is a part of the "hashspace". oclHashcat runs and exhausts itself on the wordlist but finds more cleartexts if I select fewer rows.

Any ideas?
The multihash cracking of unsalted 64 bit based hash algorithms like SHA512 and Keccak is known to be broken in v1.21. It will be fixed with next version. Sorry!
