Full Version: Any available rented gpu power?

Hi,

I'm looking into running some stuff, and I'm wondering: is there any calculation power that we can rent?

From my research, I understood that:

- Amazon instances are ridiculous - way not enough powerful
- Bitcoin mining rigs: from what I understand, it's just impossible

Can someone confirm both those points?

And has anyone any idea where I might rent some calculation power usable with hashcat?

thanks ;-)
There will be a new service based on hashtopus/hashcat opening shortly.
correct, EC2 is extremely poor Perf/$ and bitcoin/litecoin asics will not work.

however, as of right now, there aren't really any other options for renting GPU servers. so you're pretty much stuck with EC2.

this will change in the future.
curlyboy> if you have anything, I'm ready to test it, even while paying :-)

epixoip> the performance is so poor, I'm better buying a few computers with nice gpu's rather than using amazon from my calculations :/ (gpus can still be resold afterwards)
Hello,

is service already available? I have GPU rig capacities to offer.
