Hi,

I have 1 AMD RADEON 7990 HD
Code:
03:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Malta [Radeon HD 7990]

I keep getting this error

$ echo $DISPLAY
0

I followed this guide exactly: https://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=linux_server_howto and have set up my Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS server accordingly.

I've also tried troubleshooting what's mentioned here https://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=trou...viceids_-1 including reconfiguring lightdm.conf with the example config.

This is incorrect, it should be :0 not 0

what does amdconfig --lsa give you?
It's weird because at the bottom of

~/.bashrc

export DISPLAY=:0


Though I've set:

$ export DISPLAY=:0

and now

$ echo $DISPLAY
:0

Here's amdconfig --lsa:
