Hi,

I just ran the cudaHashcat64.bin file in benchmark mode. Specs are Nvidia Tesla K80, Dual CPU Intel Xeon E5-2695, 64 GB DD3 RAM, on a 1 TB RAID 0 SSD virtual drive. OS is Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS.

Performance seems really low compared to gaming GPUs (like the GTX980 or Titans). Shouldn't I get better results ? BTW driver version is 346.46.

Nothing new, Tesla and the like is really not the best hardware for hashcracking.

Nope. Teslas are really nothing more than underclocked variants of their GTX counterparts with larger amounts of ECC RAM and some additional enterprise features in their firmware. You're paying 5x the price for less performance than a GTX.

Further, K80 is a Keppler GPU, and all Nvidia architectures prior to Maxwell over the last 6 years suck for password cracking.

Also if you bothered to read this thread, you'd know that you should not be using Teslas for password cracking. They suck.
