Hi,

I'm finding it hard to search google for motherboards that have more then 2 graphics cards, I can find things like:

Expansion Slots
2 x PCI Express x16 slots, running at x16 (PCIEX16_1, PCIEX16_2) (Note 3)
2 x PCI Express x16 slots, running at x4 (PCIEX4_1, PCIEX4_2)
2 x PCI Express x1 slots

It's my general understanding to search out mobos with 16x slots is this right? if so is x16 running @ x4 acceptable? Any search tips or links would be much appreciated Smile

Thanks,
x4 are acceptable and most of the mobos support more than 2 pci-e ..
Its been ages since i searched graphics cards as i don't play games. So any PCI-E slot is also ok right? provided the graphics card has pci slot..
ok, I found a AsRock 990FX-Extreme3 tht has 3x 16x pic slots for $130

- 3 x PCI Express 2.0 x16 slots (PCIE2/PCIE3 @ x16 mode; PCIE4 @ x4 mode)
- 1 x PCI Express 2.0 x1 slot
- 2 x PCI slots
yup thats should be fine

btw the mobo support only amds cpu, so if u dont mind having an amd cpu thats ok..
