Full Version: Windows 10 Bash on Ubuntu support

For fun, I'm testing execution within Windows 10's new Bash on Ubuntu environment. Surprisingly, I had no trouble compiling libesedb from source and using it to extract tables from ntds.dit files, so that means the build environment works and behaves like Linux. But it seems that the environment doesn't expose the GPU to hashcat. `clinfo` doesn't find any devices and installing the OpenCL ICD doesn't help. My guess is that this is just the way it's going to be - no hardware pass-through.

Does anyone know how to expose the GPU (and required OpenCL components) to hashcat within this environment?
I've also played with this. Sadly I found no way to expose hardware in that little sandbox. I actually wouldn't be surprised if there is no straight forward way to get it working due to the design of the bash.
