Generally I don't use betas, but I've re-downloaded hashcat and checked its checksum:
$ sha256sum hashcat-3.6.0/hashcat64.bin
4ee2a4d04fa06faa86659f0c1a79264123cead264528eae84b79a439414faf6e hashcat-3.6.0/hashcat64.bin
same value for the one I'm currently using and the one I've just downloaded (
https://hashcat.net/files/hashcat-3.6.0.7z)
Can't reproduce locally. Maybe it depends on the input files.
I'm running Ubuntu:
Code:
Linux nutcracker 4.4.0-87-generic #110-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jul 18 12:55:35 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
with those nvidia related pkg:
Code:
nvidia-375/xenial-updates,xenial-security,now 375.66-0ubuntu0.16.04.1 amd64 [installed,automatic]
nvidia-opencl-dev/xenial,now 7.5.18-0ubuntu1 amd64 [installed]
nvidia-opencl-icd-375/xenial-updates,xenial-security,now 375.66-0ubuntu0.16.04.1 amd64 [installed,automatic]
nvidia-prime/xenial,now 0.8.2 amd64 [installed,automatic]
nvidia-settings/xenial,now 361.42-0ubuntu1 amd64 [installed,automatic]
I can provide sample input files upon request (private message?)
Hi, any news? Could you reproduce the problem?
Yes, didn't you try the new beta?
Haven't tried the beta yet. What is the best way to get the beta?
Thanks, I'll make a test ASAP.
Tested hashcat-3.6.0%2B413.7z. But problem remains:
