i was wondering if hashcat 4.01 support's distributed cracking by default if yes how the network or hardware look like or is there a specific argument to pass?

look up hashtopus. I believe it is now called hashtopussy. It supports distributed hashcat, but dont ask for help on these forums if you have issues. Go to the forums dedicated to that software.
The most viable fork right now (IMO) has been rebranded as "hashtopolis".
