Check the following links to ensure that your video card is supported by stream or CUDA. As a general rule, all new cards will be supported, but full functionality may not be enabled until the next release of HashCat.
NVIDIA:

AMD:
https://developer.amd.com/tools-and-sdks/opencl-zone/opencl-tools-sdks/amd-accelerated-parallel-processing-app-sdk/system-requirements-driver-compatibility/
If your card is not listed here, it most likely will not work.
