Thread: Adding PCFG to slow_candidates
Post: RE: Adding PCFG to slow_candidates
The newest version of the compiled PCFG is finally generating password guesses! There's a ton of features/improvements I still want to make to it, (the top one is I'm pretty sure I'm horribly handlin... |

Thread: Adding PCFG to slow_candidates
Post: RE: Adding PCFG to slow_candidates
Oh, and the ruleset needs to be generated by the Python version of the PCFG toolset, (available here: https://github.com/lakiw/pcfg_cracker)
I currently have no plans of porting the training progra... |

Periodic check-in to say that I'm making progress. The current code can be found here:

TLDR: It *does not* generate guesses right now, but progress is bein... |

Thanks!
What you describe sounds good for a plan going forward. I'll code it up the C PCFG guesser so it can run standalone as well, (which will help with my own personal testing), but will al... |

Thread: Adding PCFGs to Hashcat's Brain
Post: RE: Adding PCFGs to Hashcat's Brain
Happy New Year!
I don't expect to make fast progress, but as I said earlier I have some time to start looking at adding a PCFG attack as a slow candidate guess mode.
One thing that would really ... |

I don't see a reason why not to stick to prioritized probability. That's what we want actually. Again I understood that you can not have a index function, but by... |

Therefore I'll mark the seek function as optional. In case of PCFG, I'll simply call the sc_pcfg_next() that many times I need to seek, simply because there's no... |

I'm very excited about Hashcat's Brain server and have started to look into if it would be possible to incorporate a PCFG guesser into it. I don't think I'll actually be doing any coding until Januar... |

Don't pass up keyboard combos and duplicated passwords. By duplicated passwords I mean people typing the same short password multiple times, aka 'Password123Password123'. Also common additions such a... |

Hey thanks James for running this! I've been working on it and I noticed you're using the 'unique' hashes list from phpbb.com. For example e10adc3949ba59abbe56e057f20f883e which is '123456' only shows... |
