Post: How to insert a wordlist into a mask?

I am trying to figure out if this is possible - can I have a mask appended AND prepended to all entries in a wordlist? Here's what I mean - ?a?a(wordlistgoeshere)?a?a I know I can prepend and...

I was hoping someone could explain to me exactly what using -r twice in the same command with two different rule files does. Does it apply them at the same time or sequentially/separately to each gues...

Random thought, it would be nice to have a benchmark that I could specify the type of attack. Right now, the benchmark command just runs a brute force. Maybe an option for mask, hybrid mask etc so you...

What has me wondering if I'd be better off huffing paint is WHY this command gets such high speeds, but when I correct it, it doesn't get anywhere NEAR the speeds. Same idea with NTLM instead of MD5. ...

Like I said, it was a broken command and I get that. What I don't understand is why using -w in any form more than halves my speed but -O nearly maxes it out.
