Uh... Is the following keyspace calculation right?
Code:

Thank you @atom.
Well, I have another question. How can I use hex password for DES? I searched the forum many times, and I read mask attack wiki (https://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=mask_attack),... |

The newest hashcat beta added new mode DES-ECB.
So, is there a DES-ECB example hash? |

Thread: oclHashcat v2.10 performance questions?
Post: RE: oclHashcat v2.10 performance questions?
I still don't understand. Why there is a big performance difference between brute-force and straight mode?
brute-force 1200Mh/s, using wordlist 4500kh/s
Is there any method to narrow the gap? |

Not sure what your problem is, 105MH/s is pretty good for a CPU.

Version of oclHashcat is "v2.10 beta 192"
When cracking -m=5500 NetNTLMv1. The following results are extremely different!
Running benchmark, speed is 1218.2 MH/s.

As atom said, oclHashcat v2.10 adds supports for FPGA. Does that mean that just run the OpenCL kernels on FPGA?

Post: How about RAR5 to hashcat?
As we know, oclHashcat-2.10b134 already supported RAR5. Is there any tools to convert RAR5 to hashcat hash formats?
According to what I know, "rar2john" probably do not support RAR5. Am I right? |
