OK, not a Wireshark format issue.
Did you choose DLT_IEEE802_11_RADIO to be the default link-layer type for that interface (depends on OS)?

Thanks for the cap file. Unfortunately the attached cap file is cleaned deadly. It doesn't contain an ESSID.

The EAPOL messages inside your pcap file are from 2 different EAPOL sequences.

Thread: WPA/WPA2 batch processing
Post: RE: WPA/WPA2 batch processing
Working on hashfile.16800 is easy to handle (much easier than working on hccapx files), as it is a txt file.
That means, every bash command is working on that file.
For example: get all ESSIDs with ... |

Ok, now I know what you mean with "batch processing". That is aircrack-ng and/or pyrit style.
hashcats provides this feature with hashmode 2501 (for hccapx) and 16801 for (PMKID).
In both cases you ... |

Thread: hccapx file not cracking
Post: RE: hccapx file not cracking
To answer what went wrong, we must take a closer look into the cap file. Please attach the cap file (zip compressed) and, if possible, some information about the tool which did the capturing. |

Ok. Now we must follow the path from the content of the cap file up to the conversion to hccapx format. Therefore we need the cap file. |
