Hello, first time building a desktop! I have run through this build a few times with more experienced people and they have given me a green light but would like to confirm here as well. Before anyt...

Post: RE: GTX 1080 Founder's Edition Build

I've seen a few videos on thermal throttling of the 1080 while gaming and the processor maxes out at ~83 degrees Celsius with the fan at 100% and the cutoff temp at like 92 IIRC. I'm certainly going t...

The HD7970 came out in 2012. It's too old and is likely a problem with the driver. It also usually helps to ask for help, not demand it.

I don’t know what you’re expecting. The card is too old and reposting the same information won’t solve it. Remove the 7970 from your system or skip it in Hashcat and you won’t see the warning...

Look at the screenshot you posted. It literally says the drivers are the problem. The card is too old.

I’m not quite sure what you’re asking, but 220kH/s is right on the money for an RX 580. You can use all the devices simultaneously with -d 1,2 in your command. Note that the RX 580 is literally a ...

Those coolers are also blowing heat around inside your case instead of pushing it out. Space then as much as possible and try taking off a side panel.

2 1070s will be faster but will consume more power and generate more heat. It’s all preference. If you go with a 1080 you can always throw in another later on.
