Thread: GTX 1080 Founder's Edition Build
Post: RE: GTX 1080 Founder's Edition Build
As GTX 1080 benchmarks have come in, I would like to bump this! I reconfigured from the initial build and have cut the cost a little bit with not much cost to performance. What do you think? Thanks. |

Answers to the 4 questions at the bottom of the post and whether or not my hardware choices will be suitable for what I'm looking for and as well as cooling/processing/etc. Thanks! |

Thread: GTX 1080 Founder's Edition Build
Post: RE: GTX 1080 Founder's Edition Build
I've seen a few videos on thermal throttling of the 1080 while gaming and the processor maxes out at ~83 degrees Celsius with the fan at 100% and the cutoff temp at like 92 IIRC. I'm certainly going t... |

Also be sure that the case you’re looking at can fit all 4 GPUs. I didn’t look at anything more than the pictures and it looks like only 3 fit. Seemed that the PSU was in the way. |

If you are thinking about going with the 980 Ti, you might as well check out the 1080 or 1070. Roughly the same/or lower price. |

Thread: Hashcat AMD Driver support
Post: RE: Hashcat AMD Driver support
You can use most any build newer than 15.12. Crossfire is not needed for hashcat. You can use 2 “independent” GPUs. |

You have 13 PMKIDs in one file. If you’re only targeting one network, remove all the others. |

I would avoid splitting it into 779 files. Instead, open up the .cap in Wireshark and filter out one single handshake with a beacon for that network. Be sure the handshake is all part of one single ex... |

I’ve had a cluster with 100+ nodes. You don’t need anything crazy. The only bandwidth heavy part is sending dictionaries to agents. The rest is just agent status etc. All done over HTTP(S).

You do it the same way as you would in hashcat. In the new task parameters, add -a 3 and then your mask. |
