Thread: Building 4x GTX 1080 recommendation
Post: RE: Building 4x GTX 1080 recommendation
I beleive 50% to 60% capacity is recommeended for PSU efficiency. So in your case you will need a PSU of 1500W / 1600W PSU.
Read here for explanation of PSU efficiency.

Post: RE: Building 4x GTX 1080 recommendation
You will need more power for your PSU as 4 x GTX 1080 FE will require at least 720W (180W x 4) and 750 W psu won't be enough.
i7 CPU should be able to handle 4 GPU. I'm using i5 and runs 4 x 1080 F... |

Post: RE: Demo hash request.
You can run "oclHashcat64.exe -b --benchmark-mode=1 -m 1000" for example if you just want to benchmark NTLM.

You need to push the fans up. They should run < 70C with the fans at 100%. No, you don't need Delta fans to cool a 185W GPU, but you should probably put the s... |

Thanks. That helps to bring down the temp for dev3. Now dev3 is only about 6C hotter than dev4.
Any idea why the cards are running more than 70C?
