| if you are not planning to go beyond 4 cards i'd stick with epixoip's recommendation and have a look at CHENBRO RM41300-FS81.
i wanted to go beyond 4 cards, so CHENBRO wasn't an option. A good choice... |

| PNY is fine. 3 yrs warranty.
ZOTAC has 5 yrs warranty, but might be slightly more expensive.

| Awesome! Did check the nvidia-* tools before but seems like i missed the S/N's.
Indeed doesn't show S/N for GTX980 but it's working for GTX1080's. Sold the titan x meanwhile, can't tell anymore.
