if you are not planning to go beyond 4 cards i'd stick with epixoip's recommendation and have a look at CHENBRO RM41300-FS81.
i wanted to go beyond 4 cards, so CHENBRO wasn't an option. A good choice... |

for hex len = 10:
16^10/200000/60/60/24 = 63,6 days.
for len=10, hex excluding "1":
15^10/200000/3600/24 = 33,3 days.

PNY is fine. 3 yrs warranty.
ZOTAC has 5 yrs warranty, but might be slightly more expensive.
got both, both are ok! |

Awesome! Did check the nvidia-* tools before but seems like i missed the S/N's.
Indeed doesn't show S/N for GTX980 but it's working for GTX1080's. Sold the titan x meanwhile, can't tell anymore.

@heat: depends very much on the hash type you are processing. some hashes are running the cards very hot with high power consumption (e.g. wpa). some others are keeping the cards cool with very little... |
