    Thread: Best Performance Video Cards?
Post: RE: Best Performance Video Cards?

i'd go with the Nvidia Riva 128, or maybe a S3 Savage 4. Voodoo 3 2000 shows great hashcat performance, too.

he should probably realize that his 4U HP server likely cannot handle any GPUs at all, and if it can, it was likely designed for Teslas. and since he's asking this question, i'm assuming he has zero e...

those temps are almost exclusively with the boosted clock. at the base 800 Mhz i think (hope!) it will do a little bit better.

we'll do some serious experimentation with ours when we get them, but my hope is that they can be passively cooled.

again, cpu hashcat is not optimized for brute force. if you want to do brute force, use oclHashcat.

it says the length is 8. it sounds like you just do not know how to read hashcat's output.

your syntax is jacked. first, either remove the equal sign from each of your options, or use the long options and remove the space after each equal sign. second, your mask is also in the wrong loc...

VCL 1.22 has some bugs, hence the note on the VCL webpage. the number of gpus has nothing to do with getting away with gigabit. ethernet latency is ethernet latency, regardless of how many gpus and...

i frequently use ''-o /dev/null'' and just let hashcat write to hashcat.pot. or, i use ''-o whatever.pot --disable-potfile'' to write to a specific pot file.

you do not need root privileges to execute hashcat, but you will need root privileges to do basic configuration.
