| The error in your screenshot is from your operating system, not hashcat. You might want to find a Windows tutorial before looking for a hashcat tutorial. |

| sm_1x devices were dropped in CUDA 7. If you are using pyrit with CUDA, then you're likely using an older driver with CUDA 6 or earlier. |

| If you installed CUDA via APT then it's surely an old version (maybe CUDA 4 or CUDA 5 depending on the distribution.) For cudaHashcat you must use the latest stable driver from geforce.com. cudaHashca... |

| AMD used to be the way to go for many years. This is no longer the case starting with Nvidia Maxwell. The best GPUs you can buy right now are GTX 970, GTX 980, and GTX Titan X. |
