Post: RE: Early 1080Ti benchmark

I do not use Afterburner as I do not use Windows. I use nvidia-settings/nvidia-smi, and yes I increased the power limit from 250W to 300W: Code: -- nvidia-smi -pm 1 nvidia-smi -acp 0 nvidia-sm...

FWIW I'm not planning to move to 16.04 for at least another 7 months. If you're using AMD GPUs, then yes things will be different moving from 14.04, as you would use fglrx on 14.04 but amdgpu-pro o...

We just received two of the nine GTX 1080 Ti that we ordered. It seems something is wrong with OP's configuration, because at stock clocks, my benchmarks are considerably higher than OP's. I'm getting...

AMD dropped support for VLIW cards so you will not be able to use your 5970 with Hashcat. A 400W PSU wouldn't power those hungry Opterons plus a 5970 anyway, you'd start a fire.

Yes, you MUST remove the backplates for any card which has a card adjacent to it.

Knew it. Your risers are certainly to blame. If you're using the USB-style risers, get better quality USB cables and ensure all of the connections are firm and properly seated. If you have the ribbon ...

1200W PSU will not be sufficient. There's no reason to skimp on the PSU, go with 1600W 80plus Platinum or Titanium. I would go with 64GB DDR4 for that build, but you'll probably be fine with 32GB.

Your file either isn't really named hash.txt, or the path to hash.txt is incorrect.
