First you claim Nvidia is a software company, and now you're claiming AMD is a small company? I'm utterly baffled at how you view the world. Stating that Intel has never made a discrete GPU, or that ...

Strategy? AMD doesn't have a strategy outside of "don't go bankrupt." Do you know nothing of the company's financial struggles and internal turmoil? Nvidia is a software company? Since when? NV1? ...

I probably shouldn't have called the RX 480 a "flagship", but it is currently their top-of-the-line Arctic Islands offering, so let's not split hairs. You launch a new product line, and the best you c...

Post: RE: BUG - Problem with Hashcat 3.30

No one has been able to reproduce this alleged bug, so I'm going to say it's probably something with your particular configuration or how you're invoking hashcat.

Sounds like an ASIC hang, then. Process is probably stuck in IOWAIT. Are you overclocking?

Post: RE: I dont know what i did

hashcat-cli, oclHashcat, oclHashcat-plus, and oclHashcat-lite were all rolled into one program simply called "hashcat".

Post: RE: BUG - Problem with Hashcat 3.30

You're using ''-w 4 -D 1,2'' so your CPU is probably too busy cracking hashes to print the status. You can't expect responsiveness with these arguments...

The --help synopsis alone should be enough for you to catch the errors in your command line. Take some time to read the documentation.

I don't think it's actually "redesigned", it seems to just be a die shrink.

RX 480 is the same architecture AMD has been pushing for the past 5 years, this time with a long-overdue process shrink. AMD claims it's a 150W GPU; at 28nm it would probably draw around 275W, and mov...

It throttles not only for heat but, also power consumption. It's a 450W card in a 300W package, so it's going to throttle hard regardless of temperature. Theoretically this card is capable of ~ 290...

First off, ''-m 3200 capture.hccap'' ?? Second, posting hashes is against the forum rules. Please take some time off to familiarize yourself with them.

I have no experience compiling in Visual Studio, but you could always install Cygwin. Or maybe edit the headers as appropriate and compile with mingw.
