I don't think AMD has released any firm specs for any Vega GPUs, but if the past 3 years have taught us anything, it's almost certainly just more garbage from a flailing company with no cash for prope... |

Thread: Problems with Fans ?
Post: RE: Problems with Fans ?
Others (including atom) may have a different opinion on this, but I've never let hashcat nor the GPU firmware control the fan speeds for me, I always force them to 100% on boot and leave them there pe... |

Thread: mid range rig?
Post: RE: mid range rig?
Correct, I wouldn't go lower than a 1070 in the GTX 10 series. Outside of that, a used GTX 980 Ti or GTX 980 should be within your price range. |

Post: RE: AWS GPU family instances
Sure, lots of people have tried, and some even do indeed continue to use AWS. But AWS GPUs are shit for password cracking, the Perf/$ is atrocious, and it gets very expensive quite quickly. It doesn't... |

RAM is pretty cheap, better to have "too much" than not enough. RAM also helps with tasks like wordlist manipulation (e.g., ''sort -u -S 32000M''), or using hashcat features like --show and --left aga... |
