Thread: sapb, which card (est)
Post: RE: sapb, which card (est)
You're comparing VLIW4 to GCN, that's the big difference. I'm not familiar with the SAP B algorithm, but I think the obvious answer here is that it is better suited toward GCN than VLIW. |

it has been stated repeatedly on these forums that you should avoid buying OEM-design cards. |

1250W PSU is nowhere big enough, 4x 290X can easily draw 1200W by themselves. |

Thread: Another one tries to build a Server
Post: RE: Another one tries to build a Server
I'd HIGHLY recommend the GTX 980 over the 280X, especially since the 280X is not available in reference design and you WILL have massive cooling problems using 4x OEM-design cards that close together ... |

Not sure what you mean by fluky, but if you have /tmp on tmpfs or a separate smaller partition, you might need to use -T to specify a directory on a larger partition. |

i believe machine hashes are used to join machines to the domain, so if you crack a machine hash, then i believe you can use it to join a rogue machine to the domain.
edit: but you are very unlikely ... |

yes, they are ntlm hashes. iirc they are 14-character random passwords. |

right. use a loop. either in a batch script or in powershell. although maskprocessor runs very slowly in powershell iirc. |

Thread: Maskprocesor with many arguments
Post: RE: Maskprocesor with many arguments
i don't think you're phrasing your question clearly. are you asking how to supply multiple masks to maskprocessor? if so, the answer is you can't. instead you could use a loop. |

Post: RE: Maskprocesor with many arguments
this is a basic operating system question, not a maskprocessor question.
to prevent the shell from interpreting arguments with spaces as multiple arguments, wrap the argument in quotes. |
