Sounds like you're tripping the circuit protection in your power supply. Looks like you have 4x 7990 or 8x 7970, how big is your power supply? alphAEcho Wrote: (06-18-2015, 11:06 AM) -- I installed ...

If you're getting an ASIC hang during NTLM brute force, then it is very likely a power issue. How big is your PSU?

If you're using risers, then bad riser. If you're not using risers, then bad PCI-e slot. If it's not the motherboard, then bad GPU. Basic Layer 1 troubleshooting.

The speeds look fine to me, atom. Both the single hash speeds and the multi-hash speeds. Are you perhaps looking at the speed of the Firepro card?

Those 290Xs will draw around 320W on NTLM brute force, so your GPUs alone are likely pulling around 960W. Doesn't leave much power available for everything else in your system. Plus that's a pretty lo...

You can use rules with the combinator attack, but only single rules with -j/-k. As far as a small dictionary of common words goes, have a look at https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Wiktionary%3aFrequen...

You're not giving the GPU enough work to do. It is impossible to gain any acceleration with straight dictionary attacks against fast hashes unless you supply an amplifier. https://hashcat.net/wiki/d...

Sounds like the kernel module built okay, but the libraries didn't get installed properly. How did you install the driver?

Yeah, that's the wrong version. For 14.9, the correct version is 1573.4. So you definitely have a much newer driver installed than 14.9. I'm sorry you're experiencing so many difficulties. I haven'...

No oclHashcat does not support this, nor is it possible to support for most attack modes since candidates are generated on the GPU not the CPU.
