| VCL does not use Catalyst. Use --force with vclHashcat to ignore the message about the driver. Your compute nodes absolutely must be using 12.8. |

| It does matter. Your mask is 8 chars long, and you did not specify to use incremental mode. Therefore it is not trying 0 - 99999999, but rather 00000000 - 99999999. |

| run opencld with -d, or strace it and see why it isn't starting. if you're using VCL 1.16 instead of 1.15, it probably won't work for you.
