Yes, the GPU you linked to above is reference design.

Post: RE: New build with Titan X

If you're using reference design cards with the RM41300-FS81 then you can safely stack 4 GPUs on top of each other without a gap in between each. Temps will be a little bit high, but should still be w...

You need to generate a proper xorg.conf to fake having a monitor attached. https://github.com/stricture/nvidia-drivers/blob/master/debian/nvidia-346.postinst#L219-L224

Post: RE: R9 380 (Older R9 285) for build?

There's really no good reason to use an AMD GPU in a new build. Should be able to find a GTX 970 for around the same price.

Post: RE: R9 380 (Older R9 285) for build?

They are different architectures so you cannot directly compare the number of shaders. For example, the GTX 970 has 1664 cores and capable of 3.5 TFLOPS, while the R9 290X has 2816 cores and capable o...

How much available host memory do you have?

32GB total, or 32GB free? And how many Titan X do you have? cuMemAllocHost is returning CUDA_ERROR_OUT_OF_MEMORY so you're definitely running out of host memory at some point.

You're not answering the most important question: 32GB total, or 32GB free? Are you observing the memory utilization while running hashcat? It's not "normal," but it all depends on what else is run...

Ok. Well in the meantime I would advise observing memory utilization while the benchmark is running, maybe you can pinpoint which algorithm is causing you to run out of RAM. Or if there's just a memor...

970 is faster than the 390, and roughly the same speed as the 390X. If you plan to stack two cards then you absolutely do not want axial fans, so the ACX 2.0 is not the way to go, nor is the 390. Y...

In this specific instance the single X5690 will be faster. E5430 - quad core, no HT X5690 - six core with HT That's 8 threads @ 2.66 Ghz vs 12 threads @ 3.46 ~ 3.73 Ghz.

Hmm, stretching my memory to remember and too lazy to Google, but I *believe* the X5690 is equivalent to an i7 990X. So it was a pretty sweet processor for its time, but it *is* nearly 5 years old. ...
