Post: RE: -1% utilization issue with cudahashcat

not sure about why it's reporting -1%, but all the other issues (autotuned to 1, low utilization) indicate you are not giving it enough work to do.

Post: RE: Possible minor bug in OclHashcat-Plus

if this is a bug, it's likely a bug in the driver or ADL. hashcat just reports what the driver reports. so there's not really anything that can be done in hashcat to fix this. have you tried withou...

WPA is not LM or NTLM. What you are asking is practically impossible. You would need 2,362,609 Radeon 7970 GPUs to brute force WPA length 8 in less than 6 hours. And as brute force has exponential tim...

Yes, wordlist-based attacks and very small rule-based attacks are the only practical attacks you can run against WPA. WPA is a solid algorithm.

yes, two 7970s will take over half a year to brute force a nine-character wpa key comprised of all uppercase letters. wpa is properly slow.

not presently. but you could get creative... use an hcmask file for various keyspace ranges, then run through each hcmask file in a loop, using a lower markov threshold as the keyspace increases.
