Post: RE: oclHashcat-plus v0.10 RC1

I'm seeing some good speed increases with the 12.8 build from 0.09. Catalyst 12.9+ isn't working with VCL so I cannot test. I would really like to stick with 12.8 for a while. Yes it's "old," but i...

yes, and me and K9's point is that the beta versions are obsolete, so it does not matter.

i vote for flexibility over speed. speed is great, but having a more powerful and flexible engine gives you more control and more creativity, and can lead to finding more plains faster. and that's all...

ouch, that command line is a mess. so, first things first: why are you using --force? if you are using --force because you are using an unsupported driver, then that is likely your problem. please ...

Post: RE: --debug option

there would be no point in implementing it in oclHashcat. nor is it really feasible since the rule engine is on the GPU, not CPU. it would be much slower than just using --debug with cpu hashcat.

You can't set static clocks with Nvidia like you can with AMD. I set the clock offset to +250, which means it can boost up to 250 Mhz over the normal boot clock. But it doesn't run at that speed all t...
