| VCL only works with TCP/IP, so to use Infiniband with VCL, you need to do IP over Infiniband.
If you're using Debian/Ubuntu, it's very simple.

| the first gpu is the reference design card, which is what you want. i would not consider the "newer" model as it suggests.
cpu only matters if you plan to use cpu hashcat as well. |

| by my calculation, 2x 7870 Ghz Edition would only be 16.28% faster than a single 7970 Ghz Edition, but will require 120W more power. not worth it, just get a 7970. |
