| You would be able to reduce the keyspace with a targeted mask attack, but I don't think it will matter much. |

| 5870 is directly comparable to a 6970, so yes, 6950 should be slower.
You cannot use Catalyst 11.11 with any version of oclHashcat. Old versions of oclHashcat are timebombed and no longer work.

| Not likely. Nvidia supports OpenCL, but md5stress was certainly developed and tested on AMD, and likely needs some workarounds and such to work on Nvidia. |
