combinator3.bin from hashcat-utils. Or, if you want GPU acceleration, make a rule file out of the 3rd wordlist and pipe combinator.bin into oclHashcat and run with -r thirdwordlist.rule or something. ...

1. This is the Hashcat forums, not the Hashtopus forums. 2. GPU Ocelot is a dead project, hasn't been touched in 4+ years (2.1 released Sept 2011) 3. OpenCL can already run on CPU, and if you're...

That's DES encryption. No, it is not currently supported by oclHashcat.

Post: RE: Ubuntu Catalyst Hashcat Guide Notes

Yeah, the AMD article on the wiki is 2 years out of date, as most of us abandoned AMD for Nvidia. There's no real motivation to update it, either. A rather unfortunate time to buy 6950's as well, ...

Reference cards do not run hotter, no. They run much cooler, but usually are louder. However, hashcat is far more important than your delicate ears, so...

Mmm, I think you're a bit confused. The mask is not at all driven by the hash algorithm (well, for the most part, a few exceptions), but rather by what you believe the plaintext value might be. The ma...

Ugh, H61-PRO. The issue is almost certainly with your risers. Figure out which riser is bad and swap it out. You've built your rig like a bitcoin miner, not a password cracker, which means you've d...

You need a reference design card. That INCLUDES the reference cooler. The second card you linked to is not at all what you want. You need "that noisy fan."

You don't really need to understand how hashcat calculates the base/mod loop sizes to use --keyspace. But if you want to understand, study https://github.com/hashcat/hashcat-utils/blob/master/src/keys...
