ambient is around 23C. no, they both run at the same temp. but the gpu that drives the display, even when just sitting at xdm, is always hotter.

I think you mean Hashcat's fingerprint attack (https://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=fingerprint_attack). And no, PRINCE is not a fingerprint attack.

The GPU will hang very quickly if the frequency is unstable. You'd have to do some serious overvolting to get much more of an overclock out of these GPUs.
