ah, yeah, that's a tricky one since strings are null-terminated in C. it's a relatively easy fix, though. please open a ticket in trac.

it's not available in stores in the US either, just from companies who drop-ship it from Tyan. i'm sure Tyan will ship to Poland, just shoot them an email.

there are lots of factors that influence speed. freaking out over a 20K variance is unwarranted.

the problem with asics is that they are, by definition, application-specific. bitcoin asics will only work for bitcoin, and nothing else. well, you could attempt to use them for password cracking, but...
