i see output in your screenshot. if you're looking for the status, you won't see it unless you press 'enter' in that window, just like it tells you. if you gave it a larger workload you would probably...

they are certainly not collisions. you cannot generate an md5 collision with only 6 bytes of input data. you need at least 64 bytes. and if you are cracking hashes, then you certainly have the right a...

using -n 160 -u 1024 will yield better performance than the defaults, yes. if the password is in the dictionary you're using, then of course dictionary would be faster than brute force. checking more...

first, you should be comparing your speed to "PC1", not "PC3." second, you are benchmarking with 202 hashes, instead of one hash. this will slow down your speed by a factor of 202. 388k * 202 = 78376...

you're using your graphics card for password cracking, while also playing a game that makes heavy use of your graphics card, and you're wondering why the speed drops?

why are you using --gpu-loops 128? 128 is the default, you do not need to manually specify that. and you will not get full acceleration using the default of 128, you need to use 4096 for full accelera...

Post: RE: [ASK] About hashcat benchmark

your speed is 8750 M/s, the reference benchmark is 7500 M/s.. that 7500 M/s is using the stock clock of 925 Mhz. so if you have a ghz edition card, or are overclocking, then that explains why your car...

i do not know if the string parser will be confused by the second : or not, too lazy to test, but if it is, you could always just use a hexsalt.

in your first example, you specified -o twice and did not provide a mask. not sure what happened in your second example. anyway, just slow down, read the output of -h, and read the wiki.
