Thread: Understanding "Recovered..." field
Post: RE: Understanding "Recovered..." field
You would see 1/1 salts if it recovered the password for that salt. Since you failed to recover the password, that salt was not eliminated. |

Thread: Packages for Linux distributions
Post: RE: Packages for Linux distributions
The reason why I suggested an internal search path is to help keep command lines sane.
Here's an example: I want to run a simple rule-based attack.

Thread: REMOVING DUPLICATE HASHES, WHAT IS THIS...?
Post: RE: REMOVING DUPLICATE HASHES, WHAT IS THIS...?
$10 says he's trying to build a botnet with malware that wraps oclHashcat. But it's obvious he's just a script kiddie who has no idea how the program works, so thankfully he'll likely fail. |

So, i want to reduce time for this work.

How exactly does "Windows service" == "reduce time for work"?
Also, I can't believe no one has pointed this ... |

single md5 block is only 55 bytes so you'd need a generic multiblock md5 implementation |

Seems like you could have avoided a lot of headaches by not using The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (Kali). |

Thread: 2x Nvidia TESLA K80 Benchmark
Post: RE: 2x Nvidia TESLA K80 Benchmark
Heh, those are some dismal speeds. All four combined are slower than one 980Ti.
As for the 0 H/s, the card is too slow for the given workload. It is unable to hit a checkpoint before the benchmark ... |

So you've ran through one wordlist with one rule, and you're already out of ideas? Surely you can be a bit more creative than that.

I concur, out of that list Quadro M6000 is your best bet. Kind of a shitty situation though. You could get 4x Titan X for the price of that card :( |

Thread: MH/s, GH/s, MHz, GHz: what does it mean?
Post: RE: MH/s, GH/s, MHz, GHz: what does it mean?
Yes, MH/s is "megahashes per second", as in 1000000s of hashes per second.
H/s == Hashes per second
KH/s == Kilohashes per second (Thousands of hashes per second)
MH/s == Megahashes per second (M... |

hashcat's md5 implementation is optimized for a single block (up to 55 bytes). To go beyond this you need a generic multiblock implementation of md5. |

Yes, the Quadro is underclocked -- that's what Quadro and Tesla cards are, underclocked versions of the GTX cards. But it doesn't matter, you can simply push the clocks up. |
