Oh I get it now! mamexp is really an Asetek intern, trying to sway us all over to water.

No, that's incorrect. The correct answer was already provided in this thread.

No actual technical specs have been released for Pascal, just various sound bites, so everything out there is just rumor and speculation and we really have no idea how much faster Pascal might be. You...

Either you did not extract the archive properly, or you are not in the cudaHashcat directory. I assume it's the latter since you said you added it to your PATH, that will not work.

It's standard PCI-e slot spacing, so there is essentially no gap between the cards in that chassis.

The air duct is for passively cooled cards, not actively cooled cards.

If you tune everything properly, you should be able to run at 60-70C depending on the GPU. But this depends on you knowing how to tune everything properly.

Post: RE: mask order change

No, the order in the charset does matter as long as you are using the --markov-disable flag, which is precisely what rico said.

No, don't doubt yourself. Yes, your character set is too small. There's a reason the old default charsets & mask were as follows: Code: -- -1 ae10i2onrls938t45m67cdyhubkgpjvfwzAxEILORNSMTCDBqHYK...

Forget AMD. Currently the best GPUs are GTX 970, 980, 980 Ti, and Titan X. Any of them will be an upgrade over your current HD 7950.

That's not reference either, has the same cooler as that PNY card. So not bad, but not reference.

Nope, that's not reference either. But it is a good card. To put you out of your misery, the reference GTX 970 is very elusive. It does exist (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/nvidia-geforce-gtx-970-4gb...
