No! The warning absolutely appears relevant to the crash. The warning is telling you that ADL_Main_Control_Create() failed. So calling ADL_Main_Control_Destroy() or otherwise attempting to free() ...

password cracking does not benefit from PCI-e 3.0. going from 7970 to 290X will be about 35% faster.

mixing and matching normally isn't a problem, but in this case you're talking about mixing Overdrive5 / PowerTune 1.0 and Overdrive6 / PowerTune 2.0 cards, and at least one person has reported problem...

Looks like speed will be about equal to an R9 290, slightly slower than an R9 290X. But that TDP makes up for the difference in performance and then some. Better drivers and no x11 are icing on the ca...

no need to use an hcmask file for a single mask. and if you're going to use an hcmask file, your custom charset defines should go in the hcmask file, like so: ?l?u?d,?u?l,?2?l?l?l?1?1?1?1

We know the real-performance of the 750Ti, and since it is from the same GPU family, the 980 will scale linearly against it. Estimating the speed is simple arithmetic: 750Ti: 640 cores @ 1200 Mhz. ...

it helps in that you can load large hash lists, and get more parallelism out of obese algorithms like scrypt. but perhaps more important than the quantity of ram is the fact that nvidia has a vastly s...

first, '-k ?d?d' is incorrect, that's a mask not a rule. second, you're likely seeing a lot of rejected combinations because the words in your wordlists are too short. a 3-char word + a 3-char word...

Where did you hear that the Tyan FT77 will not recognize the GTX 980? EDIT: Confirmed bullshit. We've got 8x GTX 980 in a Tyan FT77 running just fine right now. Will post a full review later tonight.
