i vote for flexibility over speed. speed is great, but having a more powerful and flexible engine gives you more control and more creativity, and can lead to finding more plains faster. and that's all...

right. you're using shared resources, and most vps providers make heavy use of oversubscription so that they can put a large number of virtual machines on a single host. you're probably only getting 1...

you can get the processor info from inside the vm, but that doesn't mean you're actually getting all of that. you can assign four vprocs to a vm, doesn't mean you'll actually get full use of four core...

you'll never receive full acceleration from a straight wordlist attack against a fast hash, that's why it's 1/3 the speed. need to add some rules.

There's no difference between PCI-e 2.0 and PCI-e 3.0. Going from x16 -> x1 you will experience longer loading times, but the cracking speed itself is essentially the same (there are some caveats t...

this is expected because you aren't giving the left side enough work to do. i'm surprised your gpu utilization is that high, when i try your mask i only get about 2% utilization on one GPU.

You also don't need to use full paths, relative paths will work just fine. Will make your command line easier to read, and easier to spot errors like this one.

i don't know for sure, but i believe 5 & 7 were only going to be released if the 50% mark wasn't broken. from the "prices" page it looks like they had phpass, postgre, sha1, and broken sha1 hashes.
