Thread: R9 Fury Nitro 1100 mhz gpu clock - so slow - why ?

RX 480 is the same architecture AMD has been pushing for the past 5 years, this time with a long-overdue process shrink. AMD claims it's a 150W GPU; at 28nm it would probably draw around 275W, and mov... |

I probably shouldn't have called the RX 480 a "flagship", but it is currently their top-of-the-line Arctic Islands offering, so let's not split hairs. You launch a new product line, and the best you c... |

Strategy? AMD doesn't have a strategy outside of "don't go bankrupt." Do you know nothing of the company's financial struggles and internal turmoil?

First you claim Nvidia is a software company, and now you're claiming AMD is a small company? I'm utterly baffled at how you view the world.
Stating that Intel has never made a discrete GPU, or that ... |

Thread: R9 Fury/Fury X Benchmark
Post: RE: R9 Fury/Fury X Benchmark
We've been meaning to buy one to test (and subsequently throw off of the roof), but it's low priority for us. We already know how the card is going to perform.
The Fury X should benchmark very well... |
