It means your broker ran out of memory. The only person I know who has had this problem ended up having a misconfigured network, where he tried to multi-home each node but he put the second NICs on a ...

yeah, rurapenthe thought it was a memory leak, too. bitched about how the oclHashcat process was leaking like a sieve. turns out, it was his misconfigured network the whole time. so if you're seeing ...

do you have more than one copy of opencld running on any of your nodes?

it's the same thing. can you do further testing to determine if you're only seeing this with certain algorithms, certain modes, certain number of hashes, plus vs lite, etc?

Yes, that is the error you will receive if you are not using the vclHashcat binaries. Maybe atom can do another quick release, or give you a beta license so that you can continue testing.

Kuci pretty much said it all. It's difficult to calculate what percentage of speed loss you will see because it depends on a number of factors (number of nodes, number of GPUs, network topology, at...

third-party wrappers like disthc are currently the only way to distribute hashcat over the internet

The official 7990 comes out in two weeks. If you're considering something like this it would probably just be best to pick up 4x7990.

It might work in a 2U chassis like the Supermicro SYS-2027GR-TRFH but I don't know for sure. The Tyan B7015F77V4R is 4U, not 3U, and it will definitely work in there, although you will only be able to...

status doesn't work, you just have to live with it. no, those speeds are not normal for a 7970. a single 7970 should be able to pull about 130 kh/s. but, those speeds are probably to be expected with...

broker specs are solid, although more ram may be needed if you ever decide to use all 32 GPUs. you won't be able to use very high -n values with that "little" ram. you're on ethernet, so you're guara...

That's just the way it works. GPUs work on massively parallel problems, therefore you have to give them lots of work to do in order to gain acceleration. Once you start to run out of work, you start t...
