Thread: What kind of hash is this?
Post: RE: What kind of hash is this?
it may have been in an oracle 10g database, but that's not an oracle 10g hash.
if it was hashed with Spring Security then it's likely md5(pass.salt) |

Thread: What to replace my R9-290 ?
Post: RE: What to replace my R9-290 ?
I'm not sure where you saw the 390 has less cores than the 290, they both have 2560. In fact the R9 390 is literally the exact same card as the R9 290, it's just a rebrand, so that would not be an upg... |

Should be able to hit 210-215 KH/s with the 980 while drawing about half the power of the 290. Can't comment on noise. |

Thread: What's wrong?
Post: RE: What's wrong?
hashcat won't write to a directory named "cracked" unless you are explicitly telling it to. Maybe you can post your command line so we can see what you are doing. |

You do realize your wordlists have to actually contain the correct password, right? So if your wordlist does not have the word 'hashcat' in it, then no you won't crack any of the example hashes. |

Thread: Which 2080ti in a 4U?

I would strongly advise against the ESC8000 for GTX/RTX cards.
EVGA makes the best OEM RTX 20 blower. |
