i believe machine hashes are used to join machines to the domain, so if you crack a machine hash, then i believe you can use it to join a rogue machine to the domain.

of course the glaring null ptr deref there is a pretty big indication of a bug in the driver, but i can't say any of us have experienced that.

what kernel are you using, by the way? all of my systems are on 3.2.0-39-generic. it could be that a more recent backported patch was introduced that has broken compatibility with 13.1 |

haha ok. we've had some growing pains with one of our FT72B7015's as well, and what we ended up doing was pulling it out of the rack and leaving it at the office for a few days until we could work out... |

There's no -i in the original command string. And the error message is correct, -i cannot be used when reading from stdin. |

Firepro v7800 is an underclocked HD 5850. So old and slow. Moreover, AMD is dropping support for their VLIW5 cards in the next driver release, so you wouldn't be able to use this GPU for very long. |

not sure why you would waste your money on two mid-range GPUs and have to fight with heat & power requirements, instead of just buying one high-end GPU which will be just as fast without the headache. |

by my calculation, 2x 7870 Ghz Edition would only be 16.28% faster than a single 7970 Ghz Edition, but will require 120W more power. not worth it, just get a 7970. |
