Thread: GTX650M faster than GTX960 in some hashes
Post: RE: GTX650M faster than GTX960 in some hashes
There's definitely a major, catastrophic problem with the "Macbook w/ 650M" system; atom must have missed the "1182.5 GH/s" on MD4 which is definitely inaccurate to say the least. It looks like there'... |

Thread: GTX970 - Overclocking GPU
Post: RE: GTX970 - Overclocking GPU
Mild overclocking is totally safe as long as you keep the temps below dangerous levels (for the most part, under 90C is acceptable.) In most cases it's a bit dumb if you aren't overclocking, since tha... |

Thread: GTX980 vs GTX1080
Post: RE: GTX980 vs GTX1080
Hash algorithms use integer math, not floating point math, so TFLOPS is absolutely irrelevant when it comes to password cracking. |

This is our standard build:

LEPA G1600-MA
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD7
AMD FX-8150
CORSAIR CMZ16GX3M2A1866C9
Due to heat considerations I would only recommend using three GPUs max, le... |

If you're feeling particularly adventurous, check out the SUPERMICRO SYS-7047GR-TPRF. But that's only if you're looking to really trip balls. |

Thread: Hardware Input
Post: RE: Hardware Input
Those are not reference design GPUs. You will have serious cooling problems trying to stack four of those on top of each other.
You need to do some more research. |
