If those are the actual commands you ran, then that would be your problem. "-3 a" defines custom charset 3 as the letter "a", perhaps you meant "-a 3"? You also do not need seven different commands. A...

Are you sure? Because you just wrote "-3 a" in your post above. The fact that you ran seven different commands doesn't inspire much confidence. Anyway, let's assume you did run the correct attack. ...

Yeah, I think most tools have fixed this by now, but if you're using older copies of the tools or a tool which hasn't yet addressed this problem, then it certainly is a major issue.

you're defining a custom charset, but using ?l (lower alpha) in your mask. so you're only brute forcing length 7 lower alpha passwords, you aren't using your custom charset at all. also if you want to...

The hashfile needs to be in hash:salt format for oclHashcat

You might want to spend some time reading --help, the wiki, etc as your command does not do what you think it does. Logging all of the passwords generated by hashcat is sort of possible with --stdo...

most ntlm implementations only implement one block of md4, which limits the key to 27 characters. while i'm sure atom's implementation differs from this, you can see an example of this algorithm at ht...

Windows doesn't share this implementation, no. This implementation is oriented toward performance. You can get more performance if you make certain assumptions, like e.g. the password is less than 28 ...

hashcat's md5 implementation is optimized for a single block (up to 55 bytes). To go beyond this you need a generic multiblock implementation of md5.
