Post: RE: NetNTLMv2 Cyrillic symbols issue

Something is not right here. I created a wordlist with various encodings of that character (UTF8, UTF16LE, Windows 1251, ISO 8859-5) and cannot crack the hash you provided with Hashcat or JTR. So I do...

now crysis, i want you to think for a second: how big is the cooling solution on a gpu? now, how big is the stock cooling solution that ships with an apu? gpus have external power connectors; how many...

the 7670M would be the discrete gpu, and the 6620G would be the integrated GPU.

yes, two 7970s will take over half a year to brute force a nine-character wpa key comprised of all uppercase letters. wpa is properly slow.

definitely not worth the price or the hassle. easier and cheaper to just run 2x 7970. also, 8970 will be out in Q2 with the GCN2 architecture...

The GPU you've selected is an OEM design card, not a reference design card, which we would never recommend buying for hash cracking. Further, I would strongly recommend the GTX 970 over the 290X.

i don't know where you heard that you need dual cpus to be able to have 8 gpus, that's definitely not true. we've ran quad-duals on single low-end cpus for years now. just need to have the right mothe...

are those three radiators really enough? gpufreak has like 2802384032 radiators on his quad 7990 systems.

eight cards is not possible. max is eight GPUs. so four 7990s max per system.

ah ok, that makes more sense. but i still don't know if that will be enough radiators. seriously, check out gpufreak's build. you could build a fortress out of all the radiators he has for his 7990s. ...

yeah, we're ebaying all of our 290X's and sticking with 7970s for the foreseeable future. not enough time or patience to play games with AMD.

afaict there is no difference between an R9 280X and a 7970. they appear to be the same gpu. so no, it won't perform better than a 7970.
