| The 290X and 390X are literally the same GPU, so to say the 290X runs hotter than the 390X would be a fallacy.
Is this a reference design card or an OEM design card? And are you forcing the fan(s)... |

| Reference design cards are all pretty much equal, regardless of manufacturer.
That said, I personally have a strong affinity for HIS, as we've never had to RMA a single HIS card. |

| hm, looking at your log it doesn't seem that your fans are actually at 100% before hashcat starts. fan speed is at 15% until the temp hits 80C, then doesn't hit 100% until 86C. by that time, the cooli... |
