The modify password doesn't need to be cracked, it can simply be removed. Save an unencrypted copy of the file, then use any of the tools available on the Internet to remove the modify password.

Benchmark uses the best-case scenario of single-hash brute force. For everything else there will be a loss of speed and there is nothing you can do about this.

mixing and matching normally isn't a problem, but in this case you're talking about mixing Overdrive5 / PowerTune 1.0 and Overdrive6 / PowerTune 2.0 cards, and at least one person has reported problem...
